Step-Up to KS3 Course (Year 7&8)
This course does not require an assessment prior to enrolment. The course is suitable for students in Year 7 that need extra support in English and Maths in preparation for the GCSE examinations.
The aim of each course is to:
- Help children achieve their full potential in Maths and English while at secondary school
- Work through Key Stage 3 topics and concepts taught in school to prepare children for the GCSE stages
- Gain knowledge and learn through using and applying methods and techniques in relation to the Key Stage 3 appropriate examinations
- Learn and build upon existing knowledge with a goal to push ahead with English & Maths once in secondary school

Carefully designed homework schedule detailing the homework and the date that each piece of work is to be completed. All homework is written down for each child, so each child is aware of what homework that they have

Parents are given contact numbers of their tutors, so they can contact them whenever they need, with prompt replies
Our course is priced at £80 per session. Each session is two hours in duration. Each child must take one session per week. Payment for sessions is made on a monthly basis.
Homework on our Step-Up to KS3 Course uses the little and often approach, as we do not want our children to feel overworked, but we want them to have the opportunity to apply what they have learnt in the lesson to consolidate their knowledge. Homework should be approximately 30 minutes per day.
