The 11+ Exam
The 11+ entrance examination in Berkshire is provided by the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM) at the University of Durham. The examination consists of two separate papers, each of approximately 45-50 minutes in duration, containing a variety of questions which will test English Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning, and Non-Verbal ability. Questions on both papers have a range of answer formats. Pupils indicate their answers on a separate answer sheet which is marked by an optical reader and must be filled in exactly as directed in the instructions. The qualification mark for Berkshire is 111. The weighting for each subject is shown below:

The 11+ Exam
The test provider for Bucks is now GL Assessment (Granada Learning). There are two 45-60 minute tests; each test will consist of a mixture of questions of the different topics in multiple-choice format. The first paper consists of English Comprehension, SPAG, and Verbal Reasoning. The second paper consists of Non-Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning, and Maths. The qualification mark for Buckinghamshire is 121. The weighting for each subject is shown below:
